This page describes how rankraw.io handles your data based on the controls we currently have enabled. It is not a legal agreement and does not constitute independent audit or certification.
Data we collect
- · Account email (for sign-in and account recovery).
- · Profile fields you choose to add (handle, display name).
- · Products, changelogs, and votes you submit.
- · Basic auth logs (sign-in time, IP for abuse detection).
Authentication
Authentication is handled by our managed backend provider. Sessions are stored in your browser and can be revoked by signing out or deleting cookies. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session state. We do not run third-party advertising cookies. We do not sell your data.
Data retention & deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Your submissions and votes remain associated with a redacted "deleted user" handle so ranking history stays consistent, unless you request full removal.
Access controls
All tables enforce row-level security. You can only modify your own submissions and votes. Admin operations are gated by server-verified role checks.
Reporting & requests
To report abuse, request data export, or request deletion, use the contact channel listed on the About page. We respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Shared responsibility
Our managed backend provider handles infrastructure, database hosting, and authentication primitives. The rankraw.io team handles application logic, moderation, and user-facing controls listed above.
